Body Mass Index

The Body Mass Index is used worldwide to categorise body weight. It is considered the method of choice to indicate obesity in men and women. It is calculated by dividing body weight (in kilograms) to the square of the height (in meters).
Depending on the result you can judge whether you need to modify your diet or not. If, by calculating your BMI, you obtain a result over 25, it is recommended that you seek medical advice.
